What is a Pomsky?

The Pomsky is a developing hybrid that combines qualities of the Siberian Husky and the Pomeranian. The goal of developing this breed is to retain the markings, blue eyes and coat quality of the Husky while being smaller and less independent.

How big do Pomskies get?

Most 1st generation Pomskies, which are 50/50 Pomeranian/Siberian Husky, will be approximately half the size of the parents combined weight. Normally 17-31 lbs. depending on the parent’s size.

2nd generation Pomskies, which are 75/25 Pomeranian/Siberian Husky and should range between 10-18 lbs.

How much do Pomskies cost?

Our 1st generation puppies (50/50) are $1500.

What does price include?

Puppies will be up to date on vaccinations, worming, vet checked, DNA tested, come with a travel kennel and a 2 year health guarantee. The puppy’s health is guaranteed for 2 years against any congenial and/or genetic defects. The buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 3 business days of possession to validate the puppy’s health. Puppies are also required to checked by a veterinarian every 6 months and update breeder. Should a puppy be diagnosed with an illness clearly attributed to the breeder, the puppy may, upon written diagnosis from the veterinarian, be returned to the breeder for refund of purchase price or a replacement puppy of equal value.

How does the waiting list work?

When puppies are about 5 weeks old photos and videos will be posted on the Facebook page.  Puppies will be chosen in the order the deposits were received. If you want first pick you do have the option of rolling your deposit to the next litter. We reserve the right to keep puppies from the litter for the breeding program. At the time you choose your puppy it must be paid in full, if not paid by the time the puppy is 6 weeks old you forfeit the puppy. At which time you will forfeit your deposit or have to wait until the next litter. Deposit will only be carried over to one litter at this time.

How to get on a waiting list?                         New litter updates will be posted on my Facebook page so you will know when applications are being taken. Instructions to receive applications will be posted there. At this time we will take applications for current litter only, but may expand in the future. Once you are selected a $500.USD, non refundable deposit is required, which will go towards the price of the puppy.

What is a Pomsky’s temperament?

Pomskies possess traits from both parents. They are smart, easy to train, less independent, great with children and are closer to their “human” family, than the Husky. They can be escape artist to some extent, like the Husky, but do not roam as much. A fair size yard will give them plenty of exercise.

Do Pomskies shed?

Yes. Pomskies will "blow" their coats in the summer like the Pomeranians and Huskies and will require frequent brushings. Typically though their coat is not a big issue with regular brushings.

Do Pomskies have any health issues?

Pomskies are a new hybrid and at this time we have seen no health issues or concerns. Each puppy is sold with a 2 yr. health guarantee, which requires a veterinarian check up every 6 months. If any health issues arise we ask to be notified so they can be addressed.
